Veteran filmmaker K C Bokadia's movie Bold introduces Tanvi to the tinsel town. In the movie, she plays a young girl who falls victim to the lust of a man. Later on, she vows to avenge her rapist by seducing him and then killing him. 
At a news conference held in New Delhi a few days back to promote the movie, Tanvi boldly stated: "I want to rule Bollywood." Asserting that her move to enter the tinselville was not just another attempt to hog the limelight without any serious involvement with the cineworld, Tanvi asserts that acting had always been close to her heart and she immensely enjoyed doing plays as a student. She started her career as a model and did a string of prestigious assignments, including an international campaign. It was her passion for acting that prompted her to grab the offer from K C Bokadia as a golden opportunity to prove her mettle, she stresses, adding the film focuses on the versatility of women, the different roles she plays in society. 'Bold', the title of her debut film, she clarifies, does not imply sexy, rather it stresses on the courage that a woman shows while protecting her family. When quizzed about the skin-show and extra-marital affairs dominating the films, she says films only reflect the reality and changing trends of society. She is all praise for her co-stars in the film Bobby Bedi and Samir Kochar. The film is slated to hit the marquee early next month. Related Tanvi Verma Bold |
