Bipasha Basu getting tired of the sex symbol tag!

She may have set the screen on fire by her heaving wet bosom in Barsaat and set the male tongues wagging by a playing a sizzling club dancer in No Entry , but Bipasha Basu now says that she is getting tired of the sex symbol tag.

Talking to a leading news agency, Bipasha, who is said to have started the trend skin flicks with Jism , says "I'm tired of the sex symbol tag. When I came around with 'Jism' it was the only film of its kind. And it was a very classy take on a woman's sexuality. Though 'Jism' is a film I'll always remain proud of, I've decided to stop doing films that focus on female sexuality.”

Bipasha adds, "Every other girl who comes in is doing it in a most subverted way. And I don't like being clubbed with women who take off their clothes just for the heck of it... No matter what I do I can never be cheap or vulgar."

When asked if by this statement she meant sex kittens like Mallika Sherawat and Neha Dhupia Bipasha said: "I wouldn't like to comment specifically on what anyone else is doing. But, yes, I've had just about enough of this 'liberated' image. Now I want a new kind of audience for myself. I want the women, kids and family audiences to come and see my film."

Though ‘Barsaat’ and ‘No Entry’ have ample skin show by Bipasha, she insists that they are ‘absolutely clean’.

After “Barsaat’ Bipasha has another love triangle in the pipeline - 'Humko Deewane Kar Gaye', with director Raj Kanwar . It also stars Akshay Kumar , and Katrina Kaif .

And of course, Bipasha is also working in the sequel of Dhoom , which also stars Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai .
