A peek into Akshay's flirtatious past

Akshay Kumar is a settled family man today. But he did have a flirtatious past. And his forthcoming movie Garam Masala gives a peek into that past, the actor says.

In the Priyadarshan directed movie, Akshay plays a Casanova-like character who falls for any girl easily. He plays a photographer who falls in ‘love’ with five airhostesses at the same time. He flirts with each one of them until the five girls land up in the same house.

DeccanChronicle quotes Akshay as saying that in a way Garam Masala gives a peek into his flirtatious past.

“Garam Masala is a tribute to my ex-casanova status. If anybody wants to know how I was five years back, then they need not ask any questions. They can just watch Garam Masala. They will realise how flirtatious I was. Of course I have settled down now,” Akshay is quoted as saying.

Before his marriage, Akshay was going around with the now-married actress Raveena Tandon , Of late, he has been allegedly linked with actress Priyanka Chopra . But Akshay says he is today a happily married, settled man very much in love with wife Twinkle Khanna and son Aarav.

And his character in Garam Masala is more like a comic representation of his past.

Garam Masala is also John Abraham ’s first attempt at comedy. The movie also introduces three new girls – Daisy Bopanna , Neetu Chandran and Nargis . Rimi Sen and Paresh Rawal play important roles in the film.

The movie will hit the theatres in the Diwali week.
