A host of Bollywood stars would lend glitz and glamour to this year's edition of the Filmfare awards.
It will be a star-studded event in Mumbai on Saturday as the organisers of the awards function have “left no stone unturned” to rope in some of the 'favourite' stars for the show.
Filmfare awards show, one of the most popular among the film awards in India, will feature performances by Bollywood's charming and graceful actress Madhuri Dixit and the macho Abhishek Bachchan .
It will be Madhuri's first public performance after a gap of nearly six years. The actress last appeared in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Devdaas , a performance which won her a lot of accolades from audiences and critics alike.
Also present at the awards function along with Madhuri, currently in India on a two-month vacation, will be her husband and sons.
Trade sources said Madhuri's performance would be choreographed by her favourite choreographer Saroj Khan (who also choreographed her dances in 'Devdaas').
The Filmfare awards function will also have a performance by Shilpa Shetty's sister and Bollywood actor Shamita Shetty , who will be paying a tribute to the late Parveen Babi .
