Sometimes a complete turnaround in an actress’ attitude and commitment to a project can cost its maker dearly.
Filmmaker Harry Baweja is said to be still reeling from the blow of Kareena Kapoor ’s sudden walkout from his movie ‘Love Story 2050’. While the official reason for Kareena’s departure from the movie was the usual ‘date problems’, media reports suggest that the given excuse was just a cover-up lest the public see the dirty linen.
The fact is that Kareena was very excited about the movie from the start. The film is slated to be the launchpad of Baweja’s son Harman who is a good friend of Kareena.
In fact, Kareena even shot for one schedule of seven days for the movie on a lavish set that cost Baweja a whopping 16 lakhs.
As the latest reports suggest, Kareena’s attitude to the project and her interest in the movie changed suddenly after the first schedule. She reportedly asked the director to shift her dates.
But this was not possible as Baweja had already made a huge investment and was even waiting for special effects experts from the US to come to Mumbai to work on the film.
Consequently, Kareena decided to opt out of the movie, leaving Baweja high and dry.
The filmmaker is now believed to have approached Aishwarya Rai for the role. But the blue-eyed beauty still hasn’t given her nod to the project.
