HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Vidya Balan opts out of Bahut Nikle Mere Armaan 10th Apr 2006  14.23 IST By ApunKaChoice Bureau   We told you in January that Vidya Balan is all set to star in Sudhir Mishra 's next film titled Bahut Nikle Mere Armaan . But now reports are that Vidya has opted out of Bahut Nikle Mere Armaan because she objected to certain aspects of the character of an actress from the 50s whose role she was supposed to play. Another reason is Vidya's date problem for Mani Ratnam 's 'Guru' and Rituparno Ghosh 's Rahgir . Vidya without meeting Mishra informed the producer Prakash Jha that she will not be working in the film. Mishra is now skeptical about his film and may not start shooting for it before August. Bahut Nikle Mere Armaan stars Shiney Ahuja in the male lead role and is based on the life and struggle of an actress and a writer from the Hindi film industry.
