An artist looks forward to paint a Bipasha Basu portrait and a filmmaker wants to make a movie that has Bipasha’s name in the title.
Her brief stint in Phir Hera Pheri may have gone unnoticed, but Bipasha Basu is sure catching attention.
With just a few days remaining for her movie Corporate to hit the theatres, artist Anjana Kuthiala will be painting Bipasha’s portrait for the film.
The project is a result of a deal between PVR cinemas and Kuthiala, who is a very good friend of the film’s director Madhur Bhandarkar . The painting will later be sold off in an auction.
The painting will show Bipasha in her ‘Corporate’ avatar. In the film, Bipasha plays a very ambitious and spirited woman who climbs up the corporate ladder solely due to her unflinching determination to succeed.
In the past, Kuthiala has painted many canvasses of Shah Rukh Khan .
On a different front, a filmmaker has announced plans to make a film titled 'Bipasha - The Black Beauty'. While it is still not clear whether the film is based on Bipasha Basu’s life or any incidents related to it, the actress has objected to the title, saying it makes a “mockery” of her name.
Bipasha modestly says that her life is not worth making a film on.
