The model-turned-actress, who is hardly seen in Bollywood films, has made a laudable gesture.
Now that Mumbai is reeling from the simultaneous train blasts that took hundreds of lives on Tuesday evening, it is film personalities who are coming forward to help in whatever way possible.
Reports have it that Diana Hayden has donated her blood for the blast victims at a special blood donation camp organised by the Giants Group of Chowpatty.
Although Diana was invited as a special guest to the camp, the actress made a symbolic gesture by donating her blood along with 120 female students from SNDT College.
“At such a time, I feel, it is our responsibility to try and help in one way or another,” Diana is quoted as saying.
Diana also said that there are other hospitals in the city that require blood, bandages and medicines. She urged people to help in whatever way possible.
She also condemned the terror attacks in strong words.
