The duo will soon be seen in Shirish Kunder’s directorial debut, Jaaneman . The film is a musical romantic comedy starring Preity Zinta as the love interest of the two heroes.
Just like ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’, in this flick too the Salman-Akshay jodi will entertain people with their pranks and strike an emotional chord through many a romantic moments with the film’s leading lady. The film has Salman playing a stud, while Akshay will be seen in a rather geekier avatar.
The movie’s director is incorporating a unique cinematographic style in Jaaneman. For instance, there is a scene in the film that shows Salman, Akshay and Preity simultaneously in two different corners of New York. The camera pans and travels all over the city to connect both the couples in one single shot.
Meanwhile, the producer of the film, Sajid Nadiadwala, has reportedly loosened his purse strings to shoot a promo for the film. The promo, shot in Chennai, features top-notch special effects for which Nadiadwala reportedly shelled out Rs 4 million.
Jaaneman is slated to release on October 20, a day before Diwali.
