Gangster girl Kangana Ranaut got herself so deeply immersed in portraying the character of a schizophrenic woman that she had hard time sleeping at night.
It is by now common knowledge that Kangana is playing an over-possessive, insecure woman in Vishesh Film’s next presentation Woh Lamhe , which is based on the doomed love affair between the late actress Parveen Babi and Mahesh Bhatt .
While Shiney Ahuja plays the male lead, Kangana plays the role inspired from Parveen Babi.
In order to get into the very skin of her character in the film, Kangana says she virtually adopted the personality and lifestyle of Babi.
And this portrayal of a traumatized and schizophrenic woman affected Kangana so much that she was not able to sleep alone at nights. So to ward off her fears, she made her maid sleep in her room.
The 19-year-old actress says she is glad that the shooting of the film is over and she has now moved on to play a glamorous role in Shakalaka Boom Boom with Bobby Deol .
