Ramu and Big B have worked in three films already – Sarkar , Darna Zaroori Hai and the soon-to-be-released Nishabd . And still Ramu can’t seem to have enough of the superstar. He is geared up to start his much-awaited ‘Sholay’ in the coming weeks. And there are more projects in the pipeline.
An IANS report quotes Varma as saying: “Amitabh is an addiction. Once you start working with him, you feel the urge to do it again and again.”
Ramu is not the only one who feels this way about Amitabh Bachchan. Karan Johar , Ravi Chopra , Apoorva Lakhia are some other directors who find the prospect of working with the superstar irresistible.
Chopra is presently giving finishing touches to his movie Babul and has already signed Bachchan for his next film Bhootnath too.
On another front, acclaimed filmmakers like Deepa Mehta and Jagmohan Mundhra are looking forward to work with Amitabh. They have already made their offers to the cine icon and are awaiting his response.
Inarguably, no other actor in the history of Indian film industry has been so much in demand even after reaching his sixties.
