HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD 'Guru' to premiere in Toronto 18th Dec 2006  16.50 IST By ApunKaChoice   Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai starrer will have a lavish premiere in Toronto in January. Reports have it that Mani Ratnam’s film Guru will premiere at Toronto’s Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre on January 11. The premiere will be held one day before the movie’s worldwide release. It will be attended by the film’s cast, director and producer. An entirely new market has opened for ‘Guru’ with the Canada-based company Roger Nair Productions acquiring the rights of the movie’s release in Canada. The film is produced by Bobby Bedi’s company Kaleidoscope Entertainment. The movie tells the story of a villager who comes to city with a dream of making it big. How he struggles through different phases of life to realize his dream and start a company that goes on to become one of the best in India is what the story is about.
