No more participation in reality shows for Shilpa Shetty

Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty , winner of the 'Celebrity Big Brother' which has catapulted her to global fame and an offer for doing a musical for British composer Lord Andrew Lloy Webber, has vowed not to take part in a reality TV show again.

"No way. I was shocked by the lack of respect, the burping, farting, drinking and swearing. Great Britain is where Shakespeare was from -- it's known for its culture and high tea but I didn't see any of that, apart from Cleo," 31-year-old Shilpa told Daily Mirror.

Dismissing complaints that she was superior and controlling in the show, Shilpa said: "I was never controlling -- I just wanted to go with the flow. There was never a time when I said: you have to do it my way."

"When Jade said I was spending too much time in the kitchen, I took a back seat. I like to defuse trouble."

Shilpa has been bombarded with offers from companies such as Tesco and the Indian tourist Board. She has also been approached about writing a book, has dozens of film and TV offers and Andrew Lloyd Webber is said to be keen for her to star in a musical.

She would like to unwind and have some sleep, Shilpa said adding, "all the creative decisions are taken by me and the financial ones by my mother. I don't even know how much I make, I'm so blast about money.

"I'd love to do a cookery show called, 'If Shilpa Can, Anyone Can'. With a mischievous grin she said: "Or maybe I should do an advert for chicken Oxo cubes."

Shilpa said she planned to stay here for some more time as her visa has been extended. It has come as a disappointment for her biggest fan -- and biggest critic -- her proud sister Shamita Shetty .

Shamita, who turns 28 tomorrow hoped Shilpa would be back in Mumbai to help her celebrate.

Shilpa smiled as she said: "My sister told me, 'you have never won any awards for your films -- but you won the biggest award when you were playing yourself."

Shilpa is also all set to meet the Queen and Prime Minister Tony Blair.

"It's a huge honour. I am humbled," Shilpa said.

Shilpa said she planned to extend her stay in Britain, as her mother Sunanda is keen on looking for a match for her.

Shilpa has been invited to a reception to mark Commonwealth Day on March 12 where she would come face to face with the Queen.

Shilpa is also due to meet Tony Blair and other Ministers at the House of Commons on February 7, the newspaper said.

Shilpa is tipped to make an estimated 10 million pounds after her newfound international fame.
