While shooting an emotional scene with Sanjay Dutt for Sanjay Gupta’s movie ‘Rise and Fall’ (part of Dus Kahaniyan ), Shetty got emotional and his eyes welled up while listening to Sanju’s monologue.
The scene comes at a crucial moment in the movie and has Sanju speaking about friendship and brotherhood.
Given the fact that Sunil has been a very close friend to Sanju for many years and stood by him in turbulent times, Sunil empathized with everything that was said in the dialogue.
Eyewitnesses from the movie’s sets in Mumbai’s Mukesh Mills are quoted as saying that Sunil did not have to act in the scene. His reactions were natural and spontaneous.
Even when the shot was over, Sunil had tears in his eyes, reports say.
