'Masti' prequel: Joys of bachelorhood

If Indra Kumar's movie Masti was about the extra-marital misadventures of three married men, the movie's prequel will be about joys of bachelorhood.

Yes, a prequel to the hit movie that starred Vivek Oberoi , Ritesh Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani as three henpecked husbands is in the planning stages.

The film's prequel will not be directed by Indra Kumar , but by Tushar Hiranandani, the man who wrote 'Masti'. The prequel will mark Hiranandani's directorial debut.

The film will be about three bachelors and their love escapades. Hiranandani promises an entertaining blend of romance and comedy in the film.

It is still not clear whether Hiranandani plans to cast the same actors (Vivek, Ritesh and Aftab). But it is reliably learnt that the film will have three heroes and five heroines, most of them new faces.

The movie is in scripting stages and will go on the floors in November or December this year.
