Despite uncertainty over Indian cricket team’s progress to the Super Eights in the ongoing world cup, certain celebrities in Bollywood are sure that our team has the potential to bring the cup home.
Sunil Shetty , who is a cricket addict, had said before the India-Bermuda match that if Virender Sehwag finds his form, then there would be no stopping team India. Shetty’s prediction came true on Monday. Sehwag found his form in the match against Bermuda and India ended up making a record breaking total on the score board.
Shetty believes that if Sehwag comes one down, followed by Yuvraj, Dravid and Sachin, Indian team will have a batting line-up strong enough to rip apart any bowling attack in the world.
Shetty also believes that Munaf Patel, Zaheer Khan, Irfan Pathan and Anil Kumble make a strong bowling attack for India.
On another front, Aamir Khan is optimistic that team India will clinch the cup this time around. Aamir says although there is no reason for his feeling so, but he still gets “an intuition” that India will win this time.
Even actresses like Priyanka Chopra and Soha Ali Khan , who are not regularly into cricket, are keeping their fingers crossed for the Indian team.
Priyanka says we should not create too many expectations as that will put our team under lot of pressure.
