Critic-turned-filmmaker Kunal Kohli is all geared up to begin his next movie.
Kunal’s last film Fanaa received mixed response from both audience and critics. Anyway, it failed to match the super success of his previous film Hum Tum that had Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherjee paired as a romantic couple.
Kunal is now ready to make his next movie, which reportedly will be produced by himself. And the filmmaker is learnt to have signed Rani and Saif to play the lead roles.
Sources close to Kunal say that the movie will be a romantic story but at the same time it will tackle a very contemporary issue.
Kunal’s last film ‘Fanaa’ tackled the issue of terrorism through a touching love story that featured Aamir Khan and Kajol .
Kunal refuses to talk about the film’s story. But he confirms that Rani and Saif would be part of the film.
By the way, Rani and Saif will be seen in this month’s Yashraj Film’s release Tara Rum Pum .
