Arshad Warsi mostly likes to keep to himself on the sets of Vivek Agnihotri’s movie Goal which is being shot in London.
Ever since the movie went on the floors, rumours have been afloat about a ‘cold war’ between Arshad Warsi and the movie’s heroine Bipasha Basu . The two play brother and sister in the film.
Just a few weeks back, there were reports that Bipasha stormed out of the movie’s sets because Arshad had arrived too late for the shoot and had kept her waiting for a long time.
However, Bipasha alleges that there is no truth to these rumours. Although Bips does admit that she and Arshad are not best of friends on the sets, she says they are cordial with each other.
Sources from the film’s unit in London reveal that it may appear that Arshad does not get along with John Abraham (the movie’s hero) and Bipasha, the truth is that the actor likes to stay aloof on the movie’s sets. Only Boman Irani manages to strike some funny conversations with Arshad.
In fact, Arshad has rented a house in a quiet area of London for the movie’s shooting schedule. His wife Maria and son Zeke are not with him and he seems to be enjoying the quietude of bachelorhood once again during his stay in London.
‘Goal’ has both John and Arshad playing footballers. Bipasha plays the football team’s physiotherapist. Boman Irani plays the coach.
