It is extremely difficult to match the dancing skills of Madhuri Dixit . Konkona Sen not just knows this, she has experienced it.
Konkona Sen Sharma is acting alongside Madhuri Dixit in Yashraj Films’ Aaja Naachley , which is a dance-based musical being directed by ace cinematographer Anil Mehta.
Acting with Madhuri doesn’t make Konkona nervous. She has worked with some big established stars in just two years of her career in Bollywood.
But Konkona got jitters when she had to match her dance steps with Madhuri for a few scenes in the film.
Konkona is under no illusion about her own dancing abilities and she considers Madhuri way far better than her. But she was worried about looking foolish dancing alongside Madhuri.
Choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant, however, gave Konkona dance steps that weren’t very tough. It was because Madhuri was supposed to look a much better dancer than everyone else in the film.
‘Aaja Naachley’ is the comeback vehicle of Madhuri Dixit after her long hibernation since her marriage.
