Tabu smitten by older men after acting with Amitabh Bachchan

After playing the love interest of Bollywood mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan in Cheeni Kum , Tabu feels she will be better off marrying an older man in real life too.

"If I am with a younger guy, I know he will be crushed under my personality," Tabu told a newspaper recently.

"I won't be able to get along with a guy my age because he will compete with me. I have no patience and tolerance for all that. I am a free spirited person. Only an older man can control my free spirit. He'll pamper me and let me do what I want. I can flourish with him."

The newspaper added that Tabu may be looking for a father figure in her life because of the many failed relationships she has seen in life. Her parents' break up and her sister Farah's divorce could be the reason why she does not settle down.

But an older man seems to be Tabu's dream husband and she has realized this dream at least in ‘Cheeni Kum’ with Bachchan whom she describes as 'a special man whose presence comforts her'.

Tabu’s career graph is a reminder that patience has its sweet rewards. The time lag between her films may seem like a yawning gap to her fans, but she pays them back with interest, dishing out one memorable role after another.

From the suppressed wife Aditi in Astitva to the bar dancer of Chandni Bar , from the mysterious Nimmi in Maqbool to the confident mom and wife Ashima in The Namesake , Tabu has breathed life into them all.
