Bollywood stars to play cricket at IIFA 03rd June 2007

The International Indian Film Academy function in Yorkshire will witness a cricket match in which several celebrities from Bollywood will take part.
The IIFA weekend will begin on June 7 and conclude on June 10 with an award ceremony. During the course of the function, some new movies will have their premiere, and some old ones will be screened in the retrospective section.
They will play the UK team which includes former English pacers Devon Malcolm and Gladstone Small. The team will also include former Yorkshire player John Hampshire and Leeds Rhinos player Danny Maguire.
The match will be held at Headingley Carnegie Stadium. Tickets are priced at £22 for adults and £12 for minors.
It will be a 20-over (one side) match and will be telecast on ESPN and Star Sports.
The IIFA weekend will be inaugurated by Amitabh Bachchan , who is the festival’s brand ambassador. The awards night will see performances by Shilpa Shetty, Akshay Kumar , Abhishek Bachchan and Bipasha Basu .
