Hrithik may act in sequel to 'Metro'! 03rd July 2007

As director Anurag Basu’s movie Metro continues its good run at the box-office, plans are being chalked to make a sequel to the flick.
‘Metro’, a UTV production, is without doubt the best movie to have come out from Bollywood in year 2007 so far. Encouraged by the audience response to the film, the production house, along with Basu, is now working on the film’s sequel.
Scriptwriter Sanjeev Dutta and Anurag Basu are currently finalizing the sequel’s script. The sequel will not be set in Mumbai. Rather the story will take place either in Delhi or in a foreign city like London. However, the theme of the film will remain the same: complexities of relations in a city.
And the big news is that the sequel may feature Hrithik Roshan .
Rakesh Roshan is very impressed by Basu’s last two films ( Gangster and ‘Metro’) and has conveyed to the director Hrithik’s desire to work with him.
Basu says he has not finalized any actors for the sequel yet. The casting will begin once the script is in place.
Sources close to the director say there is a strong chance that Hrithik may feature in the flick.
