Fashion designer Vikram Phadnis is ready to direct his first feature film.
The young designer has been toying with the idea of venturing into filmmaking for quite a while now. He had approached Madhuri Dixit , of whom Phadnis claims to be a huge fan, for his movie. But things didn’t work out.
Now, Phadnis has reportedly signed Tabu to play the lead role in his film. Tabu is a good friend of Phadnis and has been encouraging him to direct a film.
Phadnis says when he narrated the story idea of his film to Tabu, she did not take more than a few seconds to give her consent.
Interestingly, the film will not be high on glamour quotient.
Phadnis says he wants to make a movie that is rich in emotions. Of course, he wants the film to be visually beautiful, too.
