HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Homi Adajania : Filmmaker and adventurer30th July 2007 17.23 IST By ApunKaChoice Before Homi Adajania made his first feature film Being Cyrus , he was a professional scuba diving instructor in Lakshadweep. Homi Adajania is not a conventional filmmaker. His non-conformist streak was apparent in his debut film which was a dark comedy featuring Saif Ali Khan . After the success of ‘Being Cyrus’, folks in Bollywood advised Homi to make another film soon if he doesn’t want to be forgotten. 
But Homi is a man of his own stride. Instead of working on another project, he went off traveling and doing adventure sports. He along with his friends went for adventure in Zanskar in Laddakh. Then he went on an expedition for Greenpeace to Orissa to document the mass congregation and slaughter of Olive Ridley Turtles. Apart from all this, his original passion for scuba diving in Lakshadweep is still intact. While doing all these adventures, Homi has also been putting his experiences and thoughts on paper. He is writing stories of his adventures into a book. And now that he has had his fill of adventures, Homi is geared up to direct his next film, which will be a mystery thriller set in turn of the 20th century India. Well, Homi is having the best of both the worlds.
