Actor Sunil Shetty turns 46 on Saturday. But there won’t be any birthday celebrations for him.
Sunil has been in a quiet mood and low spirit ever since his good buddy Sanjay Dutt was sentenced to six years’ imprisonment ten days back. With Sanju baba languishing in jail, Sunil finds no reason to celebrate his birthday on August 11.
Shetty, who has the same sun-sign as Dutt (both are Leo), has been hoping against hope that Sanju will get a bail from Supreme Court on August 10. In such a case, he said, he would have celebrations.
But SC today has said it will hear Sanju’s interim bail plea on August 20. So Shetty’s plan of celebration stands cancelled.
Sunil has been in constant touch with Dutt’s family throughout this ordeal. He says he is hopeful that something good will come out for Sanju from all this. He is also optimistic that Sanju will get reprieve from SC.
Shetty says even though he is turning 46, he still feels like a young man. In future, he will continue acting and producing films. He is already co-producing Mission Istanbul , which will be directed by Apoorva Lakhia.
