Having acted in many acclaimed films and having given many a noteworthy performance, Nandita is now graduating to a new level. She is set to direct a movie. Nandita is quoted as saying that she has always desired to tell a story the way she wants. This, she has not been able to achieve as an actor because an actor works under the guidance of the director. So, to tell the story the way she wants, Nandita will direct a movie herself. She is unwilling to speak about the subject of the film yet. However, reports have it that Paresh Rawal has already been finalized to play an important role in the film. Nandita is presently finalizing the cast and crew of the movie. She hopes to begin shooting by the end of this year. Meanwhile, she has also clarified that she has no intention of quitting acting.
