Director Anurag Kashyap’s forthcoming movie No Smoking is creating a lot of curiosity with its promos.
The movie’s dark look and its unusual theme has caught the attention of not just movie fans but cricketers as well. Reports have it that Indian cricket team’s captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni recently called up actor John Abraham and requested for a special screening of the film.
Apparently, John and Dhoni have been friends for quite some time.
The movie’s producer Kumar Mangat confirmed to a Mumbai tabloid that Dhoni has asked to see the film. Mangat adds that a special preview of the movie will be organized for the entire Indian team in the coming days.
Reports say there is a possibility that the screening will be held by mid-October when the Indian team will fly to Mumbai for the 7th ODI with the visiting Australian team.
‘No Smoking’ has John Abraham playing a compulsive smoker whose life goes through many changes because of his habit. The movie has Ayesha Takia playing the double role of John’s wife and secretary.
The film is slated to hit the theatres on October 26.
