This Friday’s release Jab We Met features a song that has been picturized on 180 dancers.
The song, titled Yeh Ishq Hai, was shot very lavishly in the beautiful hill station of Manali in Himachal Pradesh.
Various dance groups from local areas like Chamba, Bilaspur, Kinnour, Dharamshala, Hamirpur and Kullu were called to dance in the song. Even a dance troupe from Tibet was called.
When put together, the number of dancers in the song reached upto 180.
Imtiaz Ali , the film’s director, says the look of the song turned out to be better than expected. Even choreographer Saroj Khan gave good dance steps to Shahid Kapur and Kareena Kapoor .
‘Jab We Met’ has Shahid playing a reclusive son of an industrialist. He is full of angst and despair. But his life takes a turn when he meets a feisty girl on a train. The girl (Kareena) is a sikhni from Bhatinda.
Love takes a root between them as the two travel from Mumbai to Bhatinda and then to Shimla.
