Actress Sonali Kulkarni , seen mostly as the proverbial girl-next-door, is now turning bold.
Sonali seems intent on changing her image in Bollywood. Those who thought she couldn’t do item numbers were in for a surprise when Sonali strutted her stuff on TV show Jhalak Dikhla Ja.
And now those who think Sonali doesn’t have the oomph will be forced to rethink after seeing her in upcoming film Strangers .
There is a scene in the film in which Sonali has dropped her clothes and gone semi-nude. The shot shows Sonali sitting in a bathtub.
The actress says she had full faith in the vision and directorial abilities of Anand Rai. As for going semi-nude, Sonali says she doesn’t mind exposing a bit if the scene is integral to the plot.
