How does an actress feel when she comes to know which film she has signed from the media?
That is exactly what happened recently. Tabu , who is working in a Telugu film in Hyderabad, got to know from media reports that she has been signed for a film by actor-turned-director Deepak Tijori , when in reality she hadn’t done that.
The fault for this misinformation, however, lies not with the media. It was Tijori who jumped the gun.
Recently, Tijori had announced that his next film would star Tabu and Naseeruddin Shah . But in reality he had only discussed the project with Tabu without formally signing her for the film.
This presumptuous behaviour by Tijori has made Tabu angry. She is upset that he announced her name in his film even though she hadn’t signed on the dotted line.
The actress has reportedly expressed her displeasure to Tijori.
Tabu and Tijori have known each other for a long time but they haven’t been best of friends.
As a director Deepak Tijori hasn’t shown much originality so far. Most of his films have been rip-offs of Hollywood movies.
