Bollywood bombshell Mallika Sherawat has reportedly walked out of director Kundan Shah’s next film.
The movie, tentatively titled ‘Masquerade’, is a satirical comedy about a woman’s journey from a prostitute to a politician. Kundan Shah is trying to replicate the magic of his all-time hit ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro’ in ‘Masquerade’ which is a political satire.
Mallika was finalized to play the female protagonist in the film. But now, reports have it that the sexy belle has walked out of the project because of some irreconcilable differences with the director.
It is still not clear if Mallika had some apprehensions about the prostitute part of her role that also required her to use foul language. Rumour also has it that Mallika was not happy with the film’s technical crew.
Whatever the reason, Mallika has opted out. And now even the production house, The Indian Film Company (TV 18), is having second thoughts about producing the film.
Mallika’s presence in the project would have ensured enough eyeballs for the film. Her departure is certainly a setback.
Wonder, whom will Kundan Shah now rope in for the role.
