'Jodhaa Akbar' charms Hyderabad in Telugu

The Aishwarya Rai Bachchan – Hrithik Roshan starrer Jodhaa Akbar charmed the people of Hyderabad at the premiere show of the dubbed Telugu version.

The Telugu version of the Ashutosh Gowarikar directed film was released on Thursday and the premiere show was at 6 pm at PVR, Hyderabad.

Speaking to reporters prior to the show, Hrithik said that he would love to do straight Telugu film.

"If I am offered a Telugu project that excites me, I would love to do. I don’t find any problem in speaking in my voice. Prior to 'Jodhaa Akbar', I was not well versed with Urdu language, yet I have practiced to get my lines correct. For even Telugu, I would love to learn if a great film comes my way," he said.

On choosing the role of Akbar, Hrithik said that his instinct told him that this would be lifetime experience.

"And it was an experience that I would never forget in my life. By God's grace, I did this film and got good response from everyone. I liked the way music was composed by God of all musicians A R Rahman and the dance compositions.

Hrithik also thanked Gowarikar for giving him the lifetime chance.

"I was desperately looking to act with him having missed the chance to do his earlier film Swades . The waiting has yielded rich fruits. Acting in a historical like 'Jodhaa Akbar' is like a dream come true"

Ash termed the experience as 'enriching and rewarding'. She also has high praises for Hrithik and the director.

"Both of them great persons and fun to work with," the Bachchan bahu said.
