HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Sonam Kapoor to star opposite Hrithik Roshan 13th Apr 2008  14.00 IST By Agencies   She may have refused a role opposite Hrithik Roshan due to exposure, but now Sonam Kapoor is all set to star opposite the junior Roshan in a project by Yashraj Films . Sonam will reportedly play Hrithik’s Juliet in the upcoming film. Sonam’s superb performance in Saawariya had caught the eye of Yashraj Films and they instantly signed Sonam for the film which is being inspired by Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. The film, which will have Hrithik as Romeo, will be directed by Pradeep Sarkar who had directed the hit Parineeta starring Sanjay Dutt , Saif Ali Khan and Vidya Balan and the flop Laaga Chunari Mein Daag starring Rani Mukherjee , Konkona Sen Sharma , Abhishek Bachchan and Kunal Kapoor . Sonam has also been cast opposite Abhishek in Dilli 6 . Sonam had also been offered to play Hrithik’s leading lady in Kites but she turned down the offer, as the script demands excessive bold scenes. But that will not be an issue in this latest film opposite Hrithik.
