Apoorva Lakhia’s action thriller on international terrorism has a cameo by a man strikingly similar in appearance to the US president.
When you are making a film on terrorism, there ought to be an appearance by the man who has waged his controversial “war on terrorism”. The man, US President George W Bush, will have some screen time in Apoorva Lakhia ’s film Mission Istanbul .
The character in the film is played by the Bush look-alike, Brent Mendenhall, who is quite famous for his impersonations of the American president.
The sequence in the film shows Bush on an India visit when he gets to know that two men (played by Zayed Khan and Vivek Oberoi ) have gotten hold of a very secret intelligence information from an Arabic news channel.
Brent Mendenhall is presently shooting the film in Mumbai’s Madhusudan Mills.
As the Bush impersonator, he has traveled worldwide and given performances in films, television shows, and corporate meetings, where he is called in to give a humorously rhetorical speech after serious negotiations between business parties.
