HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Amitabh Bachchan tells about his forthcoming films on his blog21st Apr 2008 09.01 IST By Agencies Bollywood mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan has shared some of his thoughts on his forthcoming films like Bhootnath , Aladdin and Shoebite on his blog. Bachchan is playing a benevolent ghost in his upcoming film 'Bhootnath' directed by Ravi Chopra . 
"The ghost is very protective of the house he inhabits because of a history of a wrong doing against him, thereby him preventing anyone to come and live there. Until a family with a little boy finds residence in it and how at first he tries to scare them away, but later develops a kind relationship with the little boy, since he is just not prepared to believe he is a ghost but an angel," Bachchan wrote on his blog in response to the queries about his forthcoming movie. "The child also reminds him of his own grandson, which is part of the back story. Fun and games in the beginning and then an emotional middle and ending with the ghost leaving behind a few values for the little fellow to follow sum up the story," he added. Further elaborating on his films, he said, "I am presently shooting for 'Aladdin' on a very elaborate set at Mehboob Studios and doing an action sequence with Sanjay Dutt . I play the genie and Sanju the negative role. Also on the floor, is the tentatively titled 'Shoebite', which progresses well." The Big B, who has followed the footsteps of fellow actors like Aamir Khan to host his own blog, writes that the unabated flow of messages to him has prompted someone to comment that he needs to employ people to help him "or else fear the loss of my fingers". Bachchan also answered readers' queries on issues like the 'outsider' controversy in Mumbai, saying he has commented on it in several recent interviews and does not feel the need to elaborate on them.
