Sanjay Dutt to play Charles Sobhraj!

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt is set to play the leading role in a film apparently based on the life of serial killer Charles Sobhraj.

Titled 'Charles And I', the film tells the story of a charming, manipulative criminal who is expert at dodging the police. But he finds his match in a clever man who ultimately proves to be his nemesis.

The film is said to be inspired from the life of Charles Sobhraj, who was once nicknamed 'The Bikini Killer' for his murders of western tourists throughout Southeast Asia. The movie will be directed by Prawaal Raman, who directed Darna Mana Hai .

However, Charles Sobhraj, who is presently lodged in a Nepal prison, has objected to the film. The 64-year-old is said to be seriously thinking of slapping a lawsuit on People Pictures, the banner which is producing 'Charles And I'.

If there are no legal wrangles, 'Charles and I' would most likely go on the floors early next year.
