HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Despite injury, Aamir Khan resumes shooting29th Apr 2008 17.50 IST By ApunKaChoice The indefatigable Aamir Khan has resumed the shooting of his film Ghajini (Hindi) after suffering an injury in his inner thigh while shooting a stunt last week. The perfectionist Khan says he can’t afford to waste any time as he has too much on hand. He wants to finish ‘Ghajini’ shoot and then focus on the release of his next production Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na , which introduces his nephew Imran . 
On his latest blog Aamir says with ‘Jaane Tu’ he is eager to complete a hat-trick of successful films from his banner after Lagaan and Taare Zameen Par . ‘Jaane Tu’ marks the directorial debut of writer Abbas Tyrewala . Aamir is full of praise for Abbas. “Abbas who is an established writer having written films like Munnabhai MBBS , Maqbool , and Main Hoon Na among others, has done a great job as a director. While I was busy with TZP he was doing JT, and when I saw the completed film it was an excellent translation onto screen of the script, which for me is the most important yardstick for any filmmaker,” writes Aamir. The first promo of ‘Jaane Tu’ has gone on air. The tongue-in-cheek promo spoofs the big star launches and takes a dig at the fad for brawny physique among Bollywood stars. ‘Jaane Tu’ marks the return of Mansoor Khan, the man who directed Aamir’s first film ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ and the hit ‘Jo Jeeta Woh Sikander’ among others. However, in ‘Jaane Tu’, Mansoor took control of the production work while Aamir was shooting for TZP. Aamir is presently shooting for ‘Ghajini’ by using muscle support belts. He will continue to remain in Hyderabad till the first week of May. In between, he might take out some time to meet some Hyderabad fans whom he has invited to send their addresses on his blog.
