He's got a robust physique and long hair like some Greek hero. The spotlight is on Sikander Kher , one of the most talked about debutants of this year.

Son of Anupam Kher and Kiron Kher , Sikander has acting in his DNA. Even though he claims his parents haven't taught him much about acting - except a six month long acting workshop with his illustrious dad - Sikander has always paid heed to their tips and advices on acting. He has also done a three-month acting course under Kishore Namit Kapoor.

Sikander was born into a Bollywood family and got exposed to the world of cinema (Hindi and international) at an early stage.

When he was just 15 years old, Sikander worked as an assistant to Yash Chopra in Dil To Pagal Hai . After that he worked under another master filmmaker, Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Devdaas . Though direction is still not on Sikander's wishlist, he says he learnt a great deal from these two filmmakers.

There was also a rumour that Bhansali was thinking of launching Sikander in a film, but the project never took off.

Now, at last, Sikander is ready to open his Bollywood innings with two films - Woodstock Villa and Summer Of 2007 .

'Woodstock Villa' is a suspense thriller in which Sikander plays a street-smart, jobless man who gets an unexpected offer from a married woman to kidnap her. The film, also starring Neha Oberoi and Arbaaz Khan , is directed by Hansal Mehta .

'Summer of 2007' is about a bunch of college friends whose lives are turned around for better on a trip to the rural India that seems to have been left out of the urban economic revolution.

Directed by first-timer Suhail Tatari, 'Summer of 2007' is an issue-based film starring Sikander, Gul Panag , Yuvika Choudhary, Deepak Bajwa, Ashutosh Rana , Sachin Khedekar and Divya Dutta .

As both the films are ready for release soon, Sikander knows he will be compared to his parents. But he is braced up for that.

Sikander says: "All I want is my films to do well at the box-office and audience to accept me as an actor."

As an after-thought, he adds he wants to win over hearts than box-office.
