HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD After a close shave, Neil Nitin Mukesh tries bigger stunt02nd June 2008 14.04 IST By Aparajita Ghosh After a close shave in a stunt gone wrong, Neil Nitin Mukesh is still game for putting himself in harm’s way. A few weeks back, Neil had his first brush with what could have been a fatal accident on the sets of director Jehangir Surti’s action thriller Freeze in Bangkok. It happened during the shooting of a chase sequence in which Neil was seated in an auto-rickshaw trying to get away from a chasing car. 
The accident happened when due to some miscalculation the car skidded and rammed into the auto. Neil reacted instinctively and jumped out of the auto before the unthinkable could happen. Though it was a close shave, Neil escaped with just minor bruises. The incident could have struck fear into the heart of any actor, but Neil apparently decided to overcome his fears by trying out a still bigger and far more dangerous stunt after this. The actor decided to do a scene in which he was supposed to fall from the ninth floor of a building. Action director Shyam Kaushal had taken all the precautions. There was a big airbag on the ground on which Neil was supposed to land. What made the stunt more dangerous was that Neil was supposed to fall with his back to the ground. Though Neil admits he was scared before the shot, he eventually did the stunt himself. Well, some guys keep reaching out for more adrenaline rush.
