HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Salman Khan reduces fee for 'London Dreams'02nd June 2008 18.08 IST By ApunKaChoice Salman Khan is among the most expensive stars in Bollywood. But he has made an exception for a film. Even though he may be labeled the ‘controversy kid’ of Bollywood, fact remains that Salman Khan has a heart of gold. This, the actor has proved time and again, and never once bragged about it. 
Now, Sallu has done something similar for a movie project he feels close to. London Dreams – the movie has been in news for last few years but has still to go on the floors. Initially, Rajkumar Santoshi was supposed to direct it. Santoshi also shot a few scenes with Salman at the Golden Temple in Amritsar. But the movie never moved ahead after that. Now the project has changed hands. Producer Paramjeet Singh has now roped in director Vipul Shah to direct the movie. It is believed that Salman was determined to get this film made and suggested Shah’s name to Singh. To make things further easy for the producer, Salman is learnt to have waived a part of his acting fee in the film. Reports say Salman has already returned a part of the money to the producer so that the movie could go on the floors soon. Vipul Shah has made certain changes in the film’s script and screenplay. He will begin shooting ‘London Dreams’ by the end of June. The first schedule will begin in Mumbai while the second schedule, from August to September, will be in London. ‘London Dreams’ will be a musical starring Salman, Ajay Devgan and a top Bollywood actress in lead roles.
