HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Vidya Balan turns into con-woman02nd July 2008 14.55 IST By ApunKaChoice Bollywood’s Miss goody two-shoes has turned into a con-woman, albeit for a movie. The demure and elegant Vidya Balan is all set for an image overhaul in Vishal Bharadwaj ’s production Ishqiya . Vidya, who has played goody-goody roles in flicks, is going bad in the film to be directed by Bharadwaj’s assistant Abhishek Choubey. 
The story of the film revolves around three principal characters – an aged uncle, his young nephew and a scheming woman who takes the duo for a ride. Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi play the uncle-nephew duo. Vidya plays the con-woman who plays subtle mind games with the two. Coming from a Bharadwaj assistant, the movie will be shot in the realistic setting of a squalid town in north India. This is the first time Vidya is working with Naseeruddin and she sees it as an opportunity to learn the fine points of acting from the veteran. Vidya will next be seen playing a sweet girl in Aziz Mirza’s Kismat Konnection with Shahid Kapur .
