A body so well endowed as hers often takes one’s attention away from other qualities that – though not physical – play a major part in making Mallika Sherawat what she is. And one such quality is her sense of humour. 
Those who work with her get a glimpse of this quality and swear by it. Sanjay Chhel, the director of Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam feels if there is any actress who can convincingly do comedy on the big screen after the very adorable Juhi Chawla , it is Mallika. Mallika has already shown her comic timing in films like Bachke Rehna Re Baba , Pyar Ke Side Effects and Welcome . Now, she is furthering the record with flicks like Ugly Aur Pagli and Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam . In the former film she plays a dominating girl who makes her boyfriend ( Ranvir Shorey ) do all sorts of crazy things like running around semi-naked or wearing female clothes. In ‘Maan Gaye’ she plays a theatre actress enacting the role of Anarkali. Incidentally, both the films have been sold for good amount by their producers despite the absence of any other big star except Mallika. Reportedly, ‘Ugly Aur Pagli’ has been sold by Pritish Nandy Communications to Percept Picture Company, while ‘Maan Gaye’ has been sold from its producers Venus to Moser Baer. ‘Ugly Aur Pagli’ hits the theatres this Friday.
