PETA, which, as we know, stands for People for Ethical Treatment of Animals, has time and again roped in Bollywood celebrities for its campaign. After John Abraham , Shilpa Shetty and Sherlyn Chopra , the organization has now got the Nishabd girl Jiah Khan to endorse its cause. 
In her first campaign, Jiah has dolled herself up as a bird holding a kite which reads: “Cut out glass-coated manja, not wings”. The message is timely and appropriate considering that August 15 is overhead when kite lovers often fly kites with glass-coated manja (string) that often ends up cutting the wings of birds. Though the message is a noble one, there is one anomaly, however. Jiah herself is a non vegetarian, even though she claims she is trying to become a veggie. Jiah says she loves animals and has two dogs and three cats as pets. We wonder whether she keeps all her pets under the same roof. Wouldn’t that lead to a cat-dog fight?
