Akshay has a strong bond with Bangkok. It was here his struggling days began when he worked as a cook-cum-waiter at a restaurant. Today, Akshay is a big star but he still hasn’t forgotten those days of hardship. 
Recently, Akshay flew to Thailand to shoot his movie Blue in Phuket. However, after landing in Bangkok Akshay found out that the Phuket airport was closed for some technical reasons. Instead of brooding over the loss of a day’s work, Akshay decided to get nostalgic by bumming around in Bangkok. Reports say he went to some spots he already knew and even watched a movie to while away his time. The next day, the superstar left for Phuket to join the shooting unit of the aqua action-adventure thriller ‘Blue’, co-starring Sanjay Dutt , Zayed Khan and Lara Dutta . The movie’s story revolves around a huge treasure buried under sea.
