HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD When Sanjay Dutt stopped Imran Khan from a dangerous stunt27th Sept 2008 14.00 IST By ApunKaChoice On an impulse, Imran Khan decided to jump off a building for a stunt in his upcoming film Kidnap . Call it the blood rushing in the young newcomer’s now-muscular bod, or call it machismo, the fact is Imran Khan decided to do a dangerous stunt on the sets of ‘Kidnap’, which has him playing a kidnapper. 
Director Sanjay Gadhvi , who’s known for making action-packed thrillers, had envisioned a scene in which the character played by Imran jumps from the 20th floor of a building. The scene was to be shot on a body double and all the safety measures were taken. But then, much to everyone’s surprise, Imran decided to do the stunt himself. When Imran’s senior co-star Sanjay Dutt noticed Imran’s body double cooling his heels at the time when the stunt was to be shot, Dutt got worried. It only meant one thing – Imran was doing the stunt himself. Without wasting a second, the senior actor went to Imran and told him to not do the stunt. Reports say Dutt even called Imran’s uncle Aamir Khan to convince the young lad. Apart from persuasion by Dutt, it took a call from maamu Aamir for Imran to change his mind and let the duplicate do the stunt. ‘Kidnap’ is set to release on October 1. By the way, Aamir has already seen the movie at a special screening and he has liked Imran’s performance.
