A spill by Emraan Hashmi costs producer lakhs

In Vishesh Films' next presentation, titled 'Tum Mile', Emraan plays a painter. The film was recently being shot in Cape Town, South Africa, where a small incident happened.

The crew was shooting in the bungalow of painter Jewel Closenberg. Many of her expensive paintings were lying around. Emraan was shooting a scene in which he carries a paintbrush and a palette full of colours towards a blank canvas.


However, the actor reportedly fumbled and ended up spilling colour on one of Closenberg's paintings.

When the painter saw that, she was livid with rage. To appease her, the producer offered to buy the spoilt painting and had to reportedly shell out Rs. 3.5 crores.

But that was not it. Closenberg told the entire crew that they need not come to shoot in her bungalow again.

The shooting team now has to find a new bungalow to resume work.

Meanwhile, even in Raaz - The Mystery Continues , there is a scene where Emraan burns an expensive painting. However, that was not an accident but an actual scene.
