Aishwarya Rai in Sanjay Bhansali's next?

Almost six years since he last worked with her in Devdaas , Bhansali is set to do a film with Ash again. The movie, according to grapevine, would be a love story.

The other Bollywood star who's believed to have been finalized for the part is Hrithik Roshan . Bhansali apparently liked the chemistry between Hrithik and Ash in Jodhaa Akbar and thought of repeating the pairing in his movie.


The director had been working on another movie called 'Heera Mandi' but has apparently put that project on the backburner and begun working on a new film for which he wants Ash and Hrithik.

Bhansali has worked with Ash twice before ( Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and 'Devdaas') and both times he cast her in coveted roles that not just brought out her beauty but also her talent.

However, it would be Bhansali's first film with Hrithik.

The movie will reportedly go on the floors in mid-2009.

Hrithik is presently in the middle of his home production Kites , while Aishwarya is shooting Mani Ratnam 's next film in Kerala with hubby Abhishek Bachchan .
