Akshay Kumar to do 'Singh Is Kinng' sequel

Those talking about a rift between Vipul Shah and Akshay Kumar can eat their words. Not only are the duo still on friendly terms, they are planning two projects together.

The first film will be very different from Vipul and Akshay's previous films together. In Shah's words, the film would push the envelope further. After that, Akshay would act in the 'Singh Is Kinng' sequel. Shah wants Anees Bazmee to direct the film but is still not sure whether the busy director would be able to take on the project.


"My next film with Akshay pushes the envelope even more. After that there's the 'Singh Is Kinng' sequel, which I'd like Anees Bazmee to direct. But he's very busy. So it depends on him," Shah is quoted by a news agency.

Vipul also rubbishes the rumours of his fallout with Akki because he did not attend the actor's Diwali bash.

The filmmaker says he has planned a get-together with Akshay as soon as the actor returns from the shooting of a film in South Africa by the middle of November.
