Firang boy goes lattoo over Raima Sen

The guy in question is learnt to be a 24-year-old Briton named Bennett. He is the son of a friend of Raima’s mother and first met Raima at a wedding in Jaipur last week.

So smitten was he after just one look at Raima that he walked up to her, introduced himself and straightaway proposed marriage, reports say. Raima, who’s not really known for her affairs in Bollywood, was a bit taken aback by his sudden openness.


Though Raima didn’t accept the proposal, she didn’t turn him down either. In fact, the two are now in regular touch through telephone and e-mails, and just a few days back she was spotted with this firang guy having dinner at China House.

And he’s set to return to Mumbai soon. He has to go to Thailand but has chosen to stop by in Mumbai to be with Raima for some time.

So, will this friendship eventually lead to marriage?

Raima, 29, has told a Mumbai tabloid that she find her English friend’s marriage proposal funny because he’s too young (24) for her.

Come on, Raima! It’s just five years.
