How Salman improvised a romantic scene with Katrina!

When a couple shares romantic vibes in real life, the chemistry is bound to show on the screen as well. And quite expectedly, Salman was in his elements while shooting a romantic scene with Katrina for Subhash Ghai ’s film Yuvvraaj .

The scene was shot on the last day of the schedule in Austria. Since there was little time left, Ghai quickly explained the scene to Salman. In the scene, Katrina walks down a street with a friend of hers. Salman walks up to her and pulls her towards him with a slight tug.


But when the scene was being canned, Salman did his own improvisation. He walked up to Katrina and pulled her towards him real close. Then he took her out of the camera’s frame only to re-enter with his hair completely ruffled.

Almost everyone on the sets burst out laughing out loud. Ghai liked Salman’s spontaneity and okayed the shot.

Katrina, too, was amused by Salman’s spontaneous charm.

In fact, Kat was at the receiving end of many of Salman’s pranks during the film’s shooting. While preparing to shoot a scene in which Katrina plays the cello with an entire orchestra, Salman would often interrupt her practice by standing very close to her. At times, he even took the cello from her and showed her how the instrument is meant to be played. Needless to say, Salman knew nothing of it.

Perhaps it’s these little things that make Katrina so fond of Salman.

‘Yuvvraaj’ is a tale of three brothers divided by their greed for money. Salman, Anil Kapoor and Zayed Khan play the respective roles. Katrina plays the woman who uses music to unite the estranged brothers.
